Learn German, whenever -wherever. 

Yes, It is. In recent years learning has shifted from classical classrooms to a very convenient online setting. The main issue when it comes to learning any language is consistency. One of the biggest advantages of online German classes is the flexibility it offers. You can access classes anytime, anywhere and there is no additional stress from having to drive to a physical location. As an online tutor I can leverage digital resources to make my classes more efficient and provide you with all the digital material you need to progress in your learning journey without the need for boring grammar books.

There is no need to prepare anything. Booking your first class is already a big step towards achieving your learning goals. In our first trial class we get to know each other and we discuss your individual learning goals. That being said, if you wish to prepare something like an exercise or a reading/listening comprehension you are more than welcome to do so. Just let me know before our class and I will get back to you with something that suits your needs.

I personally hated having to do homework in school. Especially in French and Spanish class. Luckily my classes don't have to be like the traditional classes some of us still dread to this day. I do not require you nor do I have the authority to force you to do homework for my class. However there will always be the possibility to do additional exercises, research tasks, reading comprehensions and more included in our class material. Homework can accelerate your learning progress and solidify your vocabulary so I will encourage it, but I will not enforce it nor will be disappointed if you didn't to any.

Throughout my career I have taught students ranging from the ages of 6 to 81. So it is safe to say that there really is no age limit for me when it comes to older students. I have found however that I personally am more comfortable teaching children not younger than 9 years old as younger children require a different approach than older children. We definitely can work with a textbook if you know that you can make better progress that way. I have taught using many different books in the last 5 years in both the digital and physical versions and can make some suggestions for our class. Most students however prefer my own digital material that you will gain free access to by booking lessons with me. The material is well structured and and individualized for each level (A1.1, A1.2, A2.1, etc.)

I am a very open person and like to make you feel as comfortable as possible during our lessons. If you are more comfortable without your camera on that is totally okay with me.

I myself have been diagnosed with ADHD fairly recently and looking back realize that my teachers in school simply were not prepared to accommodate for an optimal learning experience. Since my own diagnosis I have done a lot research into different learning strategies for neurodivergent people. You do not have to disclose your medical history with me but if you chose to so I will make sure to make your learning experience as pleasant as possible. My goal is to bring any kind of anxiety and stress connected with taking classes to a minimum and make you feel understood in your struggles.
